Fedore Core 8 has just recently been released.

Dual Boot

I’ve not tried Linux before but I’m mulling the possibility of installing it on my recently purchased laptop (runs Vista). If you’ve not tried dual booting before (you’re not alone, I haven’t as well!). There is a good article that you want to check out. Head over here.

Ubuntu 7.10 was released in October. The article above describes the installation of a slightly older Ubuntu version. Anyways, I’m sure you’ll benefit from the article
