During the last year of my undergraduate studies, I enhanced OpenBiblio (a content management system for keeping track of your collections (books, musics, etc)).
My enhancements include the ability to keep create multiple ‘libraries’ within the systems, as well as the ability to scan a barcode number from the book and search it from an existing database.
About last week, a gentlemen asked me about my amazon plugin implementation. My implementation was a slight modification of the plugin that can be found at Openbiblio’s download page. In my version,a person can search for more types of data that he/she wishes to input into his/her database. I did write experimental versions to search other Amazon locales but reason that I can’t remember did not include. I am presently waiting news from the gentlemen whether or not he can get the plugin to work. Upon receiving his confirmation, I’ll release it. I still am planning to enhance it further by expanding it’s locale (i.e. include the experimental versions of the code that I have). But that will come in due time.
In the mean time, please see the enhanced openbiblio plug in at:
The link to my IEEE paper is here (at my former Professor’s page):
I participated in the 2008 IEEE Service Computing Contest. I did quite well. I went to the finals. Woot!
Click the following link. Click here.
If you would like download my implementation on your machine. Please leave your request here. I’ll package it in an easier to use manner so that you can use it.
I would be very grateful if you could donate some money to support my development efforts. I’m starting to stand on my own feet and would appreciate some support in my endeavour (every donation allows me to pay my tuition debt even quicker).

Wolfram Alpha is a different kind of search engine. Instead of sending you pages containing links that has information that you want, it actually computes the answer to your question.
So if your question can be computed then you will get an answer! What kind of questions can be computed? For started, mathematical questions and questions that requires figures (i.e. What is the GDP of Malaysia? or What happened in 1984 (just by entering the date in the search field) )
I graduated from university this May and I’ve learned that there is a different kind of busy.I’m still transitioning from student life to working life. So if anybody is visiting this block, can you tell me what do you think of working life? Do you still reminisce of the ‘years gone by? I’m enjoying the working world, more because that I’m finally am able to earn money and support my ownself.
I know I mentioned that this blog is exclusively for IT related news, but I can not help but post this link. I got it from from stumble upon. Enjoy ladies and gentlemen. The message in this video is potent. Let’s heed it.
It’s been a while since I wrote anything. I just want you all to know that I’m back. Finished all my exams. Will be graduating on the 29th of May 2008! Actively looking for a job right now. Hope to get something before I leave.
And the redirection from my main page (i.e. http://jsuresh.net) is working right now. I will also be links to projects that I have done on my main page. Thank you visitors (I can’t believe that so many of you actually visited my page)

Fedore Core 8 has just recently been released.
Dual Boot
I’ve not tried Linux before but I’m mulling the possibility of installing it on my recently purchased laptop (runs Vista). If you’ve not tried dual booting before (you’re not alone, I haven’t as well!). There is a good article that you want to check out. Head over here.
Ubuntu 7.10 was released in October. The article above describes the installation of a slightly older Ubuntu version. Anyways, I’m sure you’ll benefit from the article

It’s been a hectic 2 weeks! And looks like this semester is going to be a busy semester. There’s so many things I want to write but I just don’t have the time.
This video interests me. I think it’s time for such laptops to be in the market. I’m looking forward to this laptop. It should be out in the market by now. Hmm…I just bought a new laptop a few months back….I really want a gaming laptop, I think I should start saving money to get this laptop. Unless ofcourse if you visitors can donate money to me. That would be greatly appreciated .
JSuresh.net interrupts the daily (almost) publishing of tech news to wish fellow Malaysians “Selamat Merdeka”.
May our country grow more prosperous and more tolerant and be a beacon in the region, promoting actual tolerance between the diverse races, and perhaps in future, truly celebrate the diversity that our nation is endowed with.
Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan.
To my American visitors, The Malaysian flag is very similar to the American flag because the ideals of America was the inspiration for the flag. So in another words, the original founders of Malaysia was looking towards America as a role model when the country gained her independence from Britain.
P.s: To my visitors, Could you please leave a comment. I just want to know how many of you are real people instead of bots. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my humble little blog. I’ve just started this blog, but I hope to be able to churn out some articles of interest to you. Please click on the advertisements too. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot again.
